SANTO DOMINGO (Licey.com).- Nomar Mazara conectó un doblete para llegar a 40 remolcadas en la temporada y Erick Aybar ligó un par de imparables para ser los “Tigres” más destacados en la jornada sabatina correspondiente al béisbol de las Grandes Ligas.
En Washington, Mazara (.292) se fue de 4-1 que fue su doble (14) con una anotada, una empujada (40) y una base por bolas para los Rangers de Texas que vencieron 6-3 en 11 entradas a los Nacionales.
Aybar (.213) bateó de 4-2, anotó una e impulsó otra (9) para los Padres de San Diego en una derrota con marcador de 12-6 ante los visitantes Reales de Kansas City.
Por los ganadores, Jorge Bonifacio (.255) recibió un boleto en cuatro veces al plato.
En Boston, Hanley Ramírez (.243) dio de 5-1 con los Medias Rojas que vencieron con pizarra de 11-3 a los Tigres de Detroit.
Pedro Báez (0.99) trabajó en una entrada y cedió dos imparables en el triunfo de los locales Dodgers de Los Angeles 5-4 ante los Rojos de Cincinnati.
